Know a Friend to Whom You Could Send This Easter Card?

[You may need to ‘refresh’ your browser to see the sidebar.]

I stumbled across this while browsing at a local card store for a birthday card for my daughter. As I walked past the hundreds of Easter cards — decorated, of course, with appropriate Easter themes of bright spring colors, flowers, and bunnies, my eye caught this card. It speaks volumes about our secular culture. Where does one begin to unravel the many threads in this message? Rather than write my own commentary — Christian charity clamps my mouth shut, I will let you write your own. And then meditate long and hard on how the Church can speak the ”Good News” of Christ’s resurrection into a culture that finds wry humor in this ‘verse.’

. . . . and, oh yes, in answer to the prayer request? We will.
